Stu began playing piano in 1963 at 7years old, in New York City.
From 1972 to1976, Stu had music lessons under the private tutelage of Jazz legend, Lennie Tristano.
Graduated from the School of Contemporary Music, in Boston, Massachusetts 1978.
Taught/lectured at Boston University, School of Contemporary Music, etc.
Recorded over a dozen "New Age" CDs, under the names of Andrew Stewart and Gordon Jeffries, selling at B. Dalton’s, The Warehouse , etc.
Performed in Los Angeles at; Sidewalk Café, Powerhouse Theatre, Hudson Theatre, etc.
Performed in New York at; The Fives, The Bushes, Reno Sweeny’s, the Blue Note, etc.
Performed in Boston; At Storyville.
